What you need to make this flower headband 1/2" thick elastic or an elastic headband Scissors Hot glue gun Fake flowers The flower bunches make their mark everywhere. Movie stars wear this flower headband, they are featured in magazines, and they even make appearances on TV shows. These feminine flower accessories have been seen in Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, and many other celebrities. Bando flower is a very simple, yet beautiful accessory that can be made by anyone at home. Part 1 Forming Headband 1. Collect your inventory. Instead of buying a flower headband, make it yourself quick, easy, and inexpensive. For this DIY project, you will need: 2. Measure the length of your headband. Wrap the elastic around the top of your head. Once you find the right length, hold that point with your fingers. Open elastic from your head and use scissors to cut the elastic in the spot marked with your finger. If you already have your own headband, you can skip this step. The headband can be any color you like; both dark and colored headbands look good. 3. Form your headband. Use your glue to apply glue on one of your elastic tips. Bring the other end of the elastic glue to the glue, and place it on the glue. Press both ends for about 10 seconds. When the glue is dried, you have your headband. Make sure the elastic is not twisted when you connect the end with the glue. This will make the flower twist and become uneven as you paste it. Part 2 Adding Interest 1. Open the flower. Pull the artificial flowers from the stems. You should be able to easily pull it out of the stem. At the bottom of the flower, there will be a small green stem. Cut smaller stems under the flower so that the bottom of the flower is flat. You can leave the flower intact, as it is, or draw flowers to show off different layers of petals. 2. Flower glue to your headband. If you leave the flowers as they are, apply glue to the back of the flower using a hot glue. Then place the flower into the headband and hold it in place for about 10 seconds. If you pull the flower to flaunt the lining, it may be easier to place a small dot of glue on the headband, and then attach the lids to the glue. Press and hold the petal layer down for about 10 seconds. Fill the flowers evenly as you wish. Keep adding flowers to the headband until you are satisfied with the headband. If you use a glue other than glue, try applying the glue to the flower first, then place it on the headband. This will create less chaos. 3. Allow the headband to dry. If you use a hot glue to attach flowers to your headband, your headband will be completely dry after about 30 minutes. If you use E6000 or super glue, leave the headband dry for at least a day so no one falls when you try to wear it. Tips You can buy flower pieces designed for fabric headbands at your local craft store. To cover the headband, place your artificial flowers close enough to each other to a point so that the pedals overlap. WARNING Be careful when using hot glue. The tip of the gun gets very hot and can burn you. They can also be very messy. Ask for parent help if you need it.r Headband What you need to make this flower headband 1/2" thick elastic or an elastic headband Scissors Hot glue gun Fake flowers The flower bunches make their mark everywhere.
